Job summary

People in Science seeks an experienced Lead Contract Manager to oversee NEC4 ECC Option C contracts for a major infrastructure project in North Holland. You will lead a specialist team, manage contractual performance, and coordinate interfaces across multiple packages on-site.

Candidate must have 10+ years in contract management for regulated projects, 5+ years NEC4 ECC Option C experience, and leadership in procurements. Dutch language is advantageous; security screening may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Admin.
• 10+ years in contract management on major capital projects.
• 5+ years NEC4 ECC Option C experience.
• 5+ years leading contract management teams.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 19443.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of NEC4 specialist contract managers.
• Oversee contractual performance of the General Contractor.
• Ensure compliance with the framework agreement.
• Prepare, negotiate, and close NEC4 ECC Option C contracts.
• Coordinate interfaces between contracts and packages.
• Oversee procurement strategies and subcontractor management.
• Monitor payments and financial commitments.
• Coach and develop the contract management team.
• Advise senior management on complex issues.
• Support dispute avoidance and ISO compliance.
