Job summary

AFS Group, via its Execution Services desk, seeks a seasoned Multi-Asset Execution Trader to anchor institutional orders across equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives from the Amsterdam Stock Exchange floor. You will combine electronic execution with direct market access to deliver best results.

The role requires a hands-on, commercially minded professional with a proven track record at a major bank or brokerage and a broad network across the institutional trading community.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in institutional trading, preferably at a tier-one bank or brokerage.
• Strong practical understanding of multiple asset classes and execution platforms.
• Established network within the institutional trading community.
• Hands-on, pragmatic and commercially minded.
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English.
• Affinity with financial markets, trading systems and Bloomberg.

• Decide on the best execution route and get the order done.
• Use your market knowledge and network to strengthen client and counterparty relationships.

About Execution Services

AFS Execution Services is an independent, agency-only multi-asset execution desk. We execute institutional client orders in equities, ETFs, fixed income, FX and listed derivatives and provide access to the major international equity and option exchanges. We work on an agency basis and never take the other side of a client’s trade. You will be based on the historic trading floor at Beursplein 5 in Amsterdam, combining electronic execution with direct market access and third-party brokers to get the best result.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Asset Execution Trader who has built a strong track record in institutional trading, ideally at a major international bank or brokerage. You bring deep market knowledge, an established network and a hands-on approach. You prefer to stay close to the market and the clients rather than move into a pure management role.
