Job summary

Sytac BV is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to join Rotterdam-based initiatives building a modern MLOps platform on Azure Databricks. You will design, implement, and scale automated ML pipelines and deployment workflows to enable faster productionization of data science models.

You will lead the technical direction, share knowledge with the team, and help establish durable MLOps practices across the organization. The position is a 40-hour-week engagement with potential extension.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning product development within an MLOps context from data prep and model training to deployment and monitoring.
• Excellent Python skills and solid software design principles (OOP, design patterns).
• Demonstrable experience building and maintaining an MLOps or data platform, ideally in Azure, and preferably with Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve the MLOps infrastructure.
• Develop and roll out the internal MLOps platform: automated pipelines, model registration, and deployment workflows in Azure Databricks using MLflow.
• Introduce CI/CD best practices for machine learning (via Azure DevOps) and ensure versioning of code, models, and data.
• Coach and transfer knowledge to the existing engineers, making the team self-sufficient.
