Job summary

TomTom is seeking an experienced ML/MLOps engineer to own the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models on Azure and Databricks, collaborating with applied scientists to ensure reliable deployments.

In this hybrid role, you will build and maintain pipelines, standardize experiments with MLflow, automate workloads via Databricks Workflows and CI/CD, and implement observability, security, and incident response to maintain peak model performance.

Qualifications

• Excellence in Python software engineering and developing tests.
• Fundamental understanding of Machine Learning.
• 5+ years in Data Eng/MLOps roles.
• Strong PySpark.
• Hands-on with Databricks and Delta Lake.
• CI/CD for data/ML (Git, PR workflow, automated tests, environment pinning).
• Azure basics.
• Monitoring and building dashboards.
• Clear communication; operational-excellence mindset (SLA/SLO ownership).
