Job summary

Atlassian is seeking a Senior ML System Engineer for the Rovo GenAI Platform team in Amsterdam. You will build and maintain the core infrastructure enabling ML engineers and data scientists to develop, train, evaluate, deploy, and operate ML models and pipelines powering GenAI products.

You will lead other engineers on technical design to launch, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align expectations and share results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer.
• Fluency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (Java/Kotlin/Python).
• Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration.
• Experience building and operating large scale distributed systems using AWS services (S3, Kinesis, CloudFormation, EKS, Security/Networking).
• Experience with distributed large-scale data processing (Apache Spark).
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning projects lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the core infrastructure to enable ML engineers and data scientists to develop, train, evaluate, deploy, and operate ML models and pipelines.
• Power GenAI products and platforms with reliable, scalable infrastructure.
