The ideal candidate holds MSc/PhD in Biochemistry or Microbiology with 6+ years in pharma QC, strong GMP knowledge, and hands-on method development and transfers. Ambition for continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Educational background: MSc./PhD or equivalent in Biochemistry, Microbiology or related field.
• Experience: minimum 6 years in pharmaceutical industry, QC with microbiology focus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: GMP familiarity (FDA/EU).
• Interpersonal Skills: able to work independently and in teams, stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• The scientist will be part of the Microbiology testing team within the QC department.
• Act as the scientific responsible person for microbiological testing aspects in Drug Substance and Drug Product manufacturing.
• Lead continuous improvement projects, troubleshoot microbiological methods, and prepare protocols/reports.
