Job summary

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) at Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC will serve as a scientific liaison to the medical and academic community, building trusted relationships with HCPs to disseminate clinical information in a timely, ethical way.

The role involves contributing to the medical plan, engaging Thought Leaders, presenting data at Congresses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while adhering to Vertex policies and CRM processes. Some travel is expected up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Advanced biomedical or life sciences degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an MSL or in medical affairs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and foster relationships with Thought Leaders and HCPs.
• Incorporate SEM into interactions and territory planning.
• Represent Vertex at medical congresses with session coverage.
• Mentor colleagues and support onboarding of new hires.
• Ensure compliance with Vertex policies and CRM entry.
