Job summary

Orion Group Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer for a multinational client in Breda. The 12-month onsite contract offers extension potential and requires strong mechatronics expertise.

The role centers on 2nd line support and uptime improvements for critical packaging equipment, with cross-functional project work to deploy new products and upgrades along the labeling and packaging lines. English communication and GMP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with 5+ in operations/manufacturing.
• Hands-on troubleshooting in regulated packaging environments (GMP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd line support and uptime improvements for critical packaging equipment.
• Deploy new products and upgrades on labeling and packaging lines.
• Lead cross-functional investigations and CAPEX projects.
• Provide technical evaluations and test protocols.
• Coach and mentor maintenance technicians.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineering, Automation, QA, and Manufacturing.
