Job summary

IDD Parts in Barneveld is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (R&D) to lead the development of new products and technical solutions. You will translate market needs into feasible, commercially successful designs and guide projects from concept to market introduction.

Responsibilities include initiating and managing R&D projects, designing and testing in 3D CAD, coordinating prototypes and validating results, and ensuring schedules and budgets align with objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product development, engineering or R&D.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD and mechanical design.
• Excellent Dutch and English written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, and realize R&D projects and product developments.
• Develop, test, and optimize products and mechanical assemblies in 3D CAD.
• Coordinate prototypes, validation tests and external partners.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and technical objectives.
• Translate market needs into innovative technical solutions.
