Job summary

Optics11 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the development of robust hardware solutions for fiber-optic measurement systems. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the reliability and performance of the products in demanding environments.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience, alongside strong skills in mechanical design and analysis methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multidisciplinary product development environments.
• Experience designing chassis, enclosures, and mechanical assemblies for high-performance products.
• Strong understanding of vibration, shock, thermal, EMC, ingress protection, and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of hardware for fiber-optic measurement systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define integration requirements.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation including drawings and specifications.
