For Lummus Technology Heat Transfer in The Hague/Netherlands we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Mechanical Engineering team at the earliest date possible.

Description

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the mechanical design and analysis of an assigned scope of work in a Lummus Technology project including specific deliverables for mechanical systems, heat transfer equipment, pressure parts and vessels, rotating equipment and piping engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong focus on Lummus Technology’s products and services covering engineering, fabrication, revamp, and construction
• Perform conceptual studies, design calculations, and pressure part evaluations
• Develop technical specifications and requisition packages.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications
• Oversee and coordinate vendor packages for mechanical systems and equipment
• Collaborate across disciplines to support project execution and innovation
• Take ownership of mechanical design quality, quantity, cost, and schedule adherence

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent by experience
• 6 – 10 years of EPF or EPC experience in a Mechanical Engineer role (experience in Refining / Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or industrial fabrication industries preferred)
• Acquainted with codes and standards of ASME, API, ISO and ANSI
• Skilled in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate fluently in English
• Willing and able to travel (domestic & international) for business trips, meetings or training
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Experience with ANSYS Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) and/or Caesar II pipe stress analysis software is a plus
