Job description

With Supply Chain you are at the core of our operations. Simplicity and innovation come together to shape the future of our brand through smart solutions.

Share your talents

Rituals is growing rapidly, expanding across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels throughout Europe and beyond. In line with this growth, we are preparing to open our own state-of-the-art distribution center by 2027—an exciting milestone that will bring even greater control and efficiency to our supply chain.

The Senior Manager Transport Operations will play a key role in this journey. Responsible for managing all transport flows between the warehouse, retail stores, wholesale (travel) clients and B2C customers this role combines daily operational leadership with long-term strategic planning. With full P&L responsibility for the transport budget, the Senior Manager will drive the transition toward a centralized warehouse model—working closely with both internal teams and external logistics partners to build a future-proof, scalable, and cost-effective transport operation.

The role is measured on key performance indicators such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), transport costs versus budget (P&L responsibility), SLA compliance with logistics partners, and customer satisfaction across internal and external stakeholders. A crucial part of the position is active contribution to the transition toward a centralized warehouse model. To achieve this, the Senior Manager works cross-functionally with internal teams—including Logistics Warehouse, Supply Chain Planning, Fullfilment, and Control—while also managing relationships with external logistics providers, transport companies, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2 Supplier Managers Transport.
  • Manage transport operations between warehouse, retail/wholesale clients and B2C Customers.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with logistics providers (contracts, SLAs, escalations).
  • Drive the transition to centralized hubs, including process and system alignment.
  • Own and manage the transport budget (cost control, flow optimization, reporting).
  • Standardize and automate transport processes in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs (On-Time Delivery, transport cost per shipment, SLA adherence).

Bring all of you

  • At least 7–12 years of experience in transport management, supply chain, or logistics, with a strong focus on operational leadership and strategic process management.
  • Experience working with external partners and vendor management (3PL/4PL).
  • Strong analytical skills, including working with data and dashboards (Power BI, Excel).
  • Proven P&L responsibility and experience in cost optimization within transport operations.
  • Experience in retail logistics and/or e-commerce is a plus.
  • Strong leadership qualities: coaching, connecting, and results-driven.
  • Experience in implementation of TMS systems or Visibility tooling
  • Experience with supporting opening new warehouses
  • Familiarity with change management, project management, and implementing new processes.
