Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO in Utrecht, Netherlands, is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining all equipment, the facility and grounds.

You will install, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and work with vendors, documenting work in CMMS. The role requires a minimum high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of maintenance experience, forklift certification preferred, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or related role.
• Experience with forklifts, preferably with a certification.
• Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment and systems.
• Completing scheduled maintenance tasks and improving equipment reliability.
• Supporting electrical, mechanical, building, HVAC, and forklift maintenance needs.
• Using CMMS to document work activities and maintenance records.
• Maintaining parts inventory and sourcing supplies as needed.
• Operating machine shop tools and performing general facility maintenance.
