Job summary

Adyen is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer (I, II and Senior) in Amsterdam to design, productionize and maintain robust ML services powering data products. You will build end-to-end ML pipelines, optimize training and inference performance, and collaborate with software, data science and MLOps teams to deploy scalable solutions.

You should have 5+ years of ML engineering experience, be a strong Python programmer, and experienced with production ML lifecycle, big data pipelines and modern ML

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an engineer in the machine learning domain
• Strong Python programmer
• Experience with the full machine learning model lifecycle in production
• Experience leveraging big data to create data pipelines for models
• Strong software engineering practices and data engineering / MLOps familiarity
• Knowledge of data science, statistics and ML techniques
• Familiarity with standard data science tools in Python (e.g., Spark, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost/LightGBM, Pandas, MLFlow) and ML infrastructure tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, Argo)
• Experience working with ML infrastructure components and monitoring tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, validation, and deployment
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks in ML training and inference
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate ML solutions into products and services
• Collaborate with data scientists to transition research prototypes into scalable solutions
• Collaborate with MLOps and platform teams to integrate tools and shape future tooling
• Support and encourage good engineering practices on product ML teams
