Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a lighting designer in events, theatre or AV.
• Demonstrable experience with complex lighting designs and quality visualization skills.
• Knowledge of DMX networks and modern lighting control systems.
• Experience with software such as Vectorworks, Capture, Depence², WYSIWYG or similar visualization tools.
• Creative, innovative, technically skilled with strong client communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative lighting concepts for events, conferences, studios, and permanent installations.
• Create lighting plans, visualizations, and technical drawings.
• Work with 3D visualizations and pre-programming.
• Advise clients, project managers, and production teams.
• Select fixtures, control systems, and additional lighting technologies.
• Support productions during load-in/out and show days as needed.
• Identify new trends and innovations in lighting.
