Essent is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to advise on new and existing national and European laws and regulations relevant to the energy market, including electricity, gas, heat/cold, and hydrogen. The role involves advising on legal developments impacting Essent's strategy and activities, supporting lobby efforts, implementing new legislation, developing new products and services, and engaging with supervisory and regulatory authorities. A key focus will be contributing to the energy transition and related innovative projects.

Eligibility: Candidates should possess over 4 years of relevant legal experience (e.g., as a lawyer or legal counsel at an international company) and hold a Master's degree in Dutch Law. Essential requirements include knowledge and experience with legal advice for companies operating in regulated markets, excellent command of both Dutch and English (written and spoken), a high degree of organizational sensitivity, analytical thinking, and a constructive mindset. The ideal candidate will be a strong personality, highly communicative, proactive, pragmatic, and results-oriented.

Salary: A gross monthly salary ranging from € 6,789 to € 9,656.
