Job summary
Rotterdam Incijfers is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Rotterdam to lead critical data center projects, manage installations, and conduct load tests. You will coordinate with clients and manufacturers, write work plans, and sign off on handovers, while ensuring safety and compliance across site activities.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in commercial/industrial electrical engineering, experience with UPS systems, and the ability to train apprentices and guide a team of engineers
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as an electrical engineer in commercial/industrial buildings or data centers.
- Strong knowledge of UPS systems, batteries and backup power is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with clients and manufacturers.
- Certified or capable as WV/IV under NEN 3140 is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects in Rotterdam and The Hague data centers, overseeing installations and tests.
- Prepare work plans and align with clients and manufacturers.
- Sign off on handovers and ensure safe work execution.
- Train apprentices and junior engineers to operate independently.
- Function as work responsible person and installation responsible person under NEN regimes.
