Job summary

Itproposal is seeking an experienced Senior Kotlin Backend Developer to join an Agile Scrum team. You will contribute to the full SDLC from architecture to deployment and ongoing support.

The role follows a DevOps way of working with ownership of reliability, quality, and availability. Availability for 24/7 standby shifts is required, and the contract is for 6 months with immediate start in Amsterdam, NL.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Kotlin development experience.
• Strong Spring Boot experience.
• Backend development with microservices architecture.
• DevOps practices and application ownership.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 standby/on-call support.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Design scalable, reliable software solutions for business-critical processes.
• Analyse and design architecture for applications and data.
• Manage deployments and releases; own code end-to-end.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.
