Job summary

Impact Vandaag seeks a Senior Java Developer for a challenging Amsterdam project. You will design, develop and maintain backend solutions with Java/Spring Boot, integrate with OpenZaak, and build cloud-native Azure applications.

You collaborate closely with architects, product owners and peers to deliver reliable municipal software. Required are 7+ years Java, 5+ years Spring Boot, 4+ years OpenZaak/ZGW/OpenAPI, and 2+ years Azure cloud experiences, plus strong asynchronous architecture skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or HBO level with relevant IT education as evidenced in CV.
• At least 7 years of proven Java development experience.
• Minimum 5 years with Spring Boot and 4 years with OpenZaak, ZGW APIs and OpenAPI.
• At least 2 years Azure cloud-native Java apps, including App Services and Function Apps.
• 2+ years of asynchronous, event-driven architectures and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain OpenZaak integrations and related municipal systems.
• Build cloud-native Java applications on Microsoft Azure and enable async integrations.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews and maintain technical docs.
