The role focuses on building a complex Java backend platform, shaping architecture, and delivering scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS, with some Azure work. You’ll collaborate with an international engineering team and work across an impact-driven platform for environmental and energy-transition markets.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial Java experience.
• Strong architectural understanding of backend systems.
• Experience with SaaS, fintech, regulated tech is a plus.
• Cloud native with AWS; some Azure experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a complex Java backend platform.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical design.
• Work primarily with AWS, alongside some Azure-based projects.
• Solve challenging data and asset-management problems.
• Collaborate directly with an international engineering team.
• Help scale technology with meaningful real-world applications.
