Job summary

Link Snacks in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior SAP Finance/Controlling Analyst to lead IT-enabled finance improvements. You will drive FI/CO configurations, oversee R2R, P2P and O2C processes, and partner with global teams to transform the SAP landscape as part of the S/4HANA migration.

You will collaborate with Finance, Controlling and IT stakeholders across Europe, deliver scalable SAP solutions, and mentor junior analysts in an international, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• Certified in SAP Finance/Controlling preferred.
• 8+ years of SAP FI/CO experience with strong configuration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design and delivery of IT solutions for Finance including R2R, P2P and O2C processes.
• Translate requirements into functional specs; liaise IT and business teams.
• Oversee SAP FI/CO configurations across GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, cost centers and profitability analysis.
• Implement enhancements, align with business goals and internal controls.
• Coordinate with SI and vendors to ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Manage SAP integrations with FI/CO, SD, MM, PP and banking interfaces.
• Oversee testing, data cleansing, reconciliation and data migration for month-/year-end close.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing SAP support.

Job Description

Our spacious and modern EMEA HQ is located in the vibrant Amsterdam, and includes a highly international team, with more than 25 different nationalities. Our EMEA team is committed to continuing its impressive EMEA expansion, one bite at a time, and becoming the regional leader in branded protein snacks.

This position is based in Amsterdam, and you will be reporting to the Head of IT EMEA.

In this role, you will lead and support technology-enabled improvements across Finance, with a focus on SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling. You will partner with Finance & Accounting, Business Process Owners, systems integrators, and Local and global technology teams to translate business needs into scalable SAP finance solutions as Jack Link’s advances its global S/4HANA ERP transformation from SAP ECC.

The combined tasks and duties that must be performed to reach the results in a role successfully.

• Own the analysis, design, and delivery of IT solutions and process improvements for Finance, including Record to Report and finance touchpoints across Procure to Pay and Order to Cash.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications and act as the liaison between IT and EMEA business teams.
• Analyze, configure, and optimize SAP FI/CO solutions covering general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis.
• Implement enhancements aligned with business goals, user requirements, internal controls, and the wider SAP S/4HANA landscape.
• Partner with the systems integrator to define requirements, set expectations, and hold project and SI resources accountable for quality and timely delivery.
• Guide integrations between SAP Finance, SD, MM, PP, banking interfaces, and other business-critical financial systems.
• Oversee testing, defect management, status reporting, financial data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and SAP data migration activities.
• Act as the escalation point for complex production issues affecting month‑end and year‑end close.
• Monitor performance and user feedback, apply SAP best practices, propose improvements, and provide technical support and training to end users

Qualifications

EU Citizenship and/or valid work permit is required. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. All applications must be submitted in English, as it is the company’s corporate language.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Certified in SAP Finance/Controlling, S4 Certifications in FI/Co are preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience as an SAP Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on SAP Finance (FI/CO).
• Hands‑on SAP FI/CO configuration expertise is mandatory, including requirements analysis, solution configuration, testing support, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of end‑to‑end finance and accounting processes, including general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, cost accounting, and period‑end close.
• Experience leading system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements and managing the full testing life cycle.
• Experience working with systems integrators, vendor partners, and third‑party managed service providers.
• SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance, Universal Journal, SAP certification, financial reporting, consolidation, treasury, consumer packaged goods, technology, consulting, or global ERP transformation experience is preferred.
