Job summary

STAFIDE is seeking an experienced iOS developer to own native iOS app development using Swift and contribute within a cross-disciplinary team. You will focus on card functionality, external compliance, and accessibility while modernizing legacy code and maintaining high-quality software.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Swift/iOS, strong UIKit/SwiftUI skills, and a track record in Agile environments. This role offers collaboration with a larger developer community and SCRUM/DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of overall professional experience in iOS application development.
• At least 8 years of professional experience with Swift and iOS development as a specific mandatory requirement.
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and native iOS development.
• Experience with layouts using both UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Strong understanding of the VIP Clean Architecture pattern.
• Experience working within a larger developer community and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility and interface design.
• Experience handling Objective-C refactoring.
• Strong understanding of software development, maintenance, and legacy code modernization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.
• Modern Swift Concurrency experience is an advantage.
• Experience developing financial services applications is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native iOS features using Swift.
• Work as the sole iOS developer within a cross-disciplinary team.
• Contribute to mobile app features with focus on card functionality.
• Implement changes required for external requirements and compliance.
• Analyse and resolve legacy code issues, including improving accessibility.
• Refine requirements and implement pending changes based on business and technical needs.
• Proactively collaborate with the team to refine and deliver future functionalities.
• Contribute to Guild activities, sharing knowledge and development best practices.
• Follow SCRUM and DevOps practices while maintaining high-quality, scalable code.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and application quality.
