Job summary

ABN AMRO Cards is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to join a cross-disciplinary team in Amsterdam. You will be the sole iOS developer, refining requirements, implementing changes, and ensuring card features are compliant and future-proof.

The assignment focuses on delivering high-quality native iOS features, modernizing legacy components, and supporting compliance-driven changes in collaboration with the wider iOS Guild.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Swift, iOS frameworks, and native app development.
• Strong experience with UIKit and SwiftUI layouts.
• Ability to work independently without guidance.
• Hands-on experience with VIP Clean Architecture.
• Strong understanding of accessibility and interface design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native iOS features using Swift.
• Modernize legacy Objective-C code and ensure accessibility compliance.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend engineers to refine future functionalities.
• Ensure card-related features meet compliance requirements and external regulatory changes.
• Contribute to Guild activities, sharing knowledge and improving engineering standards.
• Work independently within a cross-functional team, driving technical decisions and ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Support continuous improvement through code reviews and DevOps practices.
