Job summary

Growathon Ventures, an Amsterdam-based venture capital firm, is seeking a senior investment leader to build and run its investment function. You will shape portfolio construction, lead deals from screening to closing, and sit on boards or observers as needed.

Fluent English required, 15+ years in VC and institutional finance, and willingness to relocate to Amsterdam. You will work with the GP on fund strategy and LP reporting, guiding governance and risk management for Fund II.

Qualifications

• 15+ years across venture capital and institutional finance
• Experience underwriting deeptech investments
• English fluency; based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

• Build and run the investment process from screening to closing
• Shape portfolio construction and reserve strategy for pre-seed through Series A
• Lead deals and take board or observer seats
• Own valuation, portfolio monitoring, and LP reporting to ILPA and Invest Europe standards
• Collaborate with the general partner on fund strategy and Fund II readiness
• Build and develop the investment team
