Job summary

Vanderlande seeks an experienced Senior Compliance Officer/Counsel to lead Speak-Up and investigations within the Compliance & Ethics team in Veghel, The Netherlands. You will enhance the global framework, manage sensitive investigations, and coordinate with HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and management to ensure consistent handling and improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in law, compliance, criminology or related field.
• Professional training or certifications in investigations, fraud examination or related areas are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Vanderlande’s Speak-Up and investigations framework, including intake, triage, investigations, reporting and follow-up.
• Lead or support investigations into potential breaches of law, the Code of Conduct, or policies.
• Conduct case assessments, evidence reviews, interviews, reporting and remediation follow‑up.
• Collaborate with HR, Internal Audit, Legal and management on sensitive matters.
• Monitor remediation actions and identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Translate investigation outcomes into practical policy or process improvements.
• Provide guidance and coaching to colleagues involved in investigations and Speak-Up activities.
