Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Instrument Engineer to manage instrument components, datasheets, requisitions and vendor prints for large-scale energy projects. The role includes leadership on project aspects like manpower, planning, and coordination with clients and procurement, with reporting to Lead Instrumentation or Project Manager.

The position covers P&ID preparation, reviews, HAZOP/SIL meetings and instrument calculations, as well as CAD 3D modeling support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Instrumentation/Process Control/Electrical and Electronics/Chemical/Mechanical.
• More than ten years’ experience in a similar engineering function.

Responsibilities

• Handle instrument datasheets, requisitions and vendor prints.
• Lead instrument scope, planning and budgeting where assigned.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Prepare P&ID's and participate in P&ID reviews, HAZOP, SIL meetings.
• Execute calculations for flow instruments, control valves and PRVs.
• Support site activities during construction, commissioning and start-up.
