Job summary

DEPT® is a Growth Invention company with a digital-first approach, delivering marketing and tech solutions across multiple disciplines. The senior strategist will shape influencer ideas, align creator talent with paid media and search, and drive client outcomes across EMEA from our hub in Budapest with global collaboration.

You’ll lead strategy on priority accounts, test and refine ideas early, and work across Paid Social, SEO, GEO, and Creative teams to ensure integrated plans from day one.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years as a digital marketing strategist, preferably within an agency environment, and, with creator, creative and social work as a foundational part of it.
• You can show an influencer strategy that won a pitch, grew an account or developed the business, and explain the thinking behind it.
• You know how creator content works with paid media, search and commerce, and you've planned for all three.
• You present clearly to senior clients in professional-level English. German or Dutch is a plus.
• You interrogate briefs deeply before you answer them.
• You work well with teams and brands across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Lead influencer strategy on priority client accounts across EMEA, from interrogating the brief to the plan our delivery teams work from.
• Bring creators in early, while the brand’s idea can still change, so they test and shape it before it goes into production.
• Plan creator work with our Paid Social, Social, SEO and GEO, and Creative teams, so it’s part of the integrated plan from day one.
• Support our growth strategist on pitches where influencer thinking decides the win.
• Feed what you learn on live accounts into the propositions we take to clients.
• Review strategy work across the three regions and coach the strategists in each hub, so the standard is the same wherever the work is done.
