Job summary

Qabird seeks an experienced aerospace test engineer to lead test planning, execution, and reporting for Hydrogen Powertrain systems in aerospace applications.

You will develop test plans and acceptance criteria for HAPSS subsystems, build testing rigs, capture data, and drive verification activities to meet certification requirements. Travel to suppliers and partner sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in aerospace/mechanical/electrical engineering is required; master's preferred.
• Experience with test plans, procedures, and verification in high-stakes environments.
• Knowledge of aviation testing standards and safety requirements is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Develop and document test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for HAPSS subsystems.
• Design, build, and maintain test rigs and instrumentation for testing.
• Execute test campaigns, analyze data, and prepare reports.
• Support failure investigations and root cause analysis from test data.
• Contribute to certification test readiness reviews and traceability.
