Job summary

g2 Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join a major construction project in Amsterdam. This role focuses on maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance across all delivery phases.

You will bring a strong Civils/CSA background, valid VCA/SCC certification, and proven RAMS review experience, with excellent communication to engage site teams, contractors, and management on a fast-paced site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor or Senior Health & Safety Advisor within construction.
• Valid VCA Certificate or SCC Certificate for on site work in Netherlands.
• Strong Civils/CSA project experience (not M&E-focused).
• Experience reviewing and managing RAMS.
• Experience maintaining H&S registers, compliance records, and site documentation.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualifications and training.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with site teams, contractors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate H&S records and compliance documentation.
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety guidance to site teams.
