Job summary

AniCura - a MARS subsidiary in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Health & Safety, Risk & Security Manager to lead the development and implementation of H&S, risk, and security strategies across a multi-country veterinary network. You will partner with senior leaders to foster a proactive safety culture and drive change.

The role requires a strong H&S background, NEBOSH qualification, Dutch and English proficiency, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a multi-site health and safety role.
• Native-level Dutch proficiency and fluent English.
• Willingness to travel ~20% and regular presence in Amsterdam.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent and IOSH membership.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Nice to have NEBOSH Fire, CDM, or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSRS strategies across Europe veterinary network.
• Develop and implement health, safety, fire, risk, and security strategies.
• Shape the compliance framework and HSRS programs.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to drive safety culture and ownership.
• Deliver projects including ISO 45001-aligned management systems.
