Job summary

Comcast in Rotterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Golang and AWS Software Engineer to design and operate large-scale cloud platforms. You will build backend services in Go, frontend with TypeScript/React, and work across Kubernetes and AWS to deliver reliable, scalable software used by millions.

You will improve CI/CD, observability, and incident response, mentor peers, and contribute to technical direction in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing, building and operating well-architected distributed apps on AWS.
• Backend development experience in Go.
• Frontend development with TypeScript/React in modern frameworks.
• Experience building and debugging CI/CD pipelines, observability and production live systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction.
• Clear communication and a product engineering mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build, release, and support customer-facing products and services at scale.
• Develop across the stack: Go for backend, TypeScript/React for frontend.
• Design and implement components, APIs, and integrations in Kubernetes and AWS.
• Improve code quality, testing, observability, CI/CD and release reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve live system issues, including incident root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering peers to deliver effective solutions.
