Job summary

Prosus is seeking a senior backend engineer in Amsterdam to design and deliver MCP server infrastructure and multi-model LLM integrations for Toqan. You will build new MCP services and connect with multiple AI providers, balancing reliability with fast iteration in production.

You will own architectural decisions, ship end-to-end, and collaborate with a 10-person engineering team while leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Strong Go programming skills with production backend experience.
• Hands-on AWS design, deployment and operation of cloud-native services.
• Direct experience building MCP servers or Model Context Protocol integrations.
• Experience integrating with multiple AI/LLM providers in production.
• Ownership of CI/CD pipelines, test infra, and build systems.
• Collaborative delivery across product and platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Review MCP server infrastructure health and integration status with AI providers.
• Build out new server endpoints and tighten integrations with LLM providers.
• Collaborate with teammates on reliability edge cases and deployment patterns.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure.
• Partner with product/platform teams to ship features end-to-end.
