Job summary

Nexperia seeks a Senior Legal Counsel based at the Nijmegen headquarters to advise on a wide range of national and international corporate law and governance matters, including M&A, working closely with Finance, Treasury and Tax teams. You will coordinate with external counsel and provide pragmatic, high-quality legal support to strategic transactions across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• University degree in law.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law in an international setting.
• M&A experience is an advantage.
• Experience with Finance, Treasury and/or Tax departments.
• Litigation experience is an advantage.
• Experience with leading law firms or multinationals is an advantage.
• Proven ability to work with C-suite and senior management stakeholders.
• Excellent communication in English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Advise on national and international corporate law and corporate governance, including M&A.
• Coordinate with Finance, Treasury and Tax departments and external advisors.
• Support litigation and dispute matters of varying complexity.
• Coordinate external counsel and ensure consistent, business-focused legal advice across jurisdictions.
• Support executive management and local organizations worldwide.
