Job summary

Ir Olav's Globetrotters B.V. seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and improve its Warehouse Control System (WCS).

You will work across front-end and back-end tech, turning logistics challenges into scalable software solutions, reporting to the Software Manager in the Netherlands. You’ll own architecture, develop warehouse control software, and collaborate with project managers, engineers and customers to deliver quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Completed a tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with React or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience with SQL Server and database design.
• Experience with Git-based source control and DevOps practices.
• Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience in logistics/warehouse tech is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.

Job description

The client is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to play a key role in the design, development, and continuous improvement of its Warehouse Control System (WCS).

The successful candidate will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, translating complex logistics challenges into robust, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions. Working closely with colleagues, customers and technology partners, they will contribute to the next generation of automated warehouse solutions.

The Senior Full Stack Developer will report to the Software Manager and will be based at the client's office inthe Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain high-quality full-stack applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.

Take ownership of software architecture, technical design and solution development.

Develop and optimise software for warehouse control and material flow systems.

Work closely with project managers, service engineers and customers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Conduct code reviews, promote development best practices and contribute to software quality and maintainability.

Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools and standards.

Support DevOps activities, CI/CD pipelines and software deployment processes.

Mentor and support less experienced developers where required.

Occasionally travel to customer sites for project implementation and technical support.

Function criteria

Completed a tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5 years of professional software development experience.

Strong experience developing applications using C# and .NET.

Strong experience with React or comparable front-end frameworks.

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database design.

Experience with Git-based source control and DevOps practices.

Experience with REST APIs, system integrations, and distributed applications.

Experience working in the logistics, e-commerce, warehousing, or supply chain technology space is considered a strong advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Willingness to travel when required.
