Job summary

Outtask is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to design and build data-driven, cloud-native platforms that support real-time insights and safer decisions. You will work across product, design, engineering and DevOps to deliver scalable software with AI-assisted engineering.

You will design, build, and evolve full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python, including interactive map-based tools with real-time data and multi-tenant cloud services.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of full-stack development experience, preferably in enterprise or data-intensive environments.
• Demonstrable production experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including task decomposition, context engineering, and verification of generated output.
• Experience with mapping libraries, spatial data, or identity and access management is beneficial; an interest in marine survey and remote sensing data is valuable.
• Quality and collaboration: strong testing discipline, clear communication, and contribution through pairing, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve full-stack applications and cloud-native services for data-intensive use cases.
• Influence architecture and engineering practices; help colleagues advance AI-assisted coding.
• Develop full-stack web apps with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Build interactive map-based tools with real-time data integration and spatial editing.
• Create resilient, scalable cloud services for multi-tenant, large geodata volumes, and many users.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and collaborate with Product and Design from discovery through production.
• Work with DevOps to ensure services run reliably in production.
• Improve code reviews, testing practices, and engineering guardrails for rapid delivery of high quality.
