Job summary

Remind is looking for its first in-house full-stack engineer to work closely with the founders on a live brain health product. The role is hybrid in Amsterdam, with 2–3 office days per week, and involves shaping the architecture, guiding AI agents, and delivering across the stack.

You will own code quality, systems health, and long-term product health while collaborating with the CTO to define standards and best practices for rapid, data-driven development.

Qualifications

• Medior or senior engineer with strong hands-on coding ability.
• Comfortable being the only engineer with broad scope and ownership.
• Based in the Netherlands, with Amsterdam office 2–3 days per week.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is not required.

Responsibilities

• Become the technical conscience of Remind, owning code quality and long-term health of the codebase.
• Work directly with the CTO to shape how the product is built.
• Maintain an AI-first workflow, directing agents and knowing when to step in.
• Ship features across the full stack: app, API, database, and releases to stores.
• Instrument features for data-driven decisions and grow the data warehouse MVP.
• Gradually raise the bar with testing, CI, security, and monitoring.
