Job summary

Virtual Vaults in Rotterdam is seeking a hands-on senior engineer for the Workspaces or Data Room team. You will work across .NET, Angular, and Azure, applying AI to support development and embedding AI capabilities into our products.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to shape the solution, write code, and drive features through release and production operations, influencing architecture and user experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional C# development with production services and APIs.
• Production experience in Angular/TypeScript delivering frontend features.
• Hands-on Azure PaaS, containers, IaC, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Delivery from start to finish: clarify requirements, implement, test, release and production verification.
• Break complex projects into manageable steps and keep risks visible.
• Communicate risks and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders and demos.
• Develop and maintain backend services, frontend experiences, and infra as code.
• Build AI-enabled features and evaluate their usefulness, accuracy, and security.
• Ensure secure, reliable operation and incident response.
