You’ll help shape user-focused digital solutions for leading clients such as Ayvens, Brabant Water, DLL, Freo, Vitens, Athlon, and Damen Shipyards. From day one, you’ll step into one of our self-managing multidisciplinary DevOps teams, where strategy, concept, design, development, and support all come together.

These teams bring together front-end and software developers, designers, testers, and other specialists to take responsibility for the entire solution lifecycle of software, apps, and websites. Working in short sprints, you and your team partner closely with clients to continuously add value to their digital products. Quality, innovation, and sustainability are always at the core of what we build.

Your Role & Impact

• Build meaningful solutions: Create high-impact, user-facing applications that combine usability, design, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate deeply: Work side by side with your scrum team (front-end, back-end, UX, QA) and stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Lead transitions: Guide clients through the move from traditional monolithic systems to flexible, composable digital platforms.
• Take ownership: Manage the full front-end lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Shape design systems: Contribute to consistent, reusable design systems and shared user interfaces across teams.
• Tackle complex challenges, such as presenting large data sets in clear, intuitive portals (in close collaboration with UX) and modernizing existing systems into solid, future-proof architectures.
• Ensure every solution meets the highest standards of performance, accessibility, and security.
• Stay innovative: Keep an eye on new technologies, experiment with fresh ideas, and bring innovation into practice.

Our client designs, develops, and supports software, apps, and websites on the basis of the ambitions of their customers. They provide projects, offer multidisciplinary teams as a service, organise Labs, and share knowledge via outsourcing and training programmes. They have existed since 1994 and have since built deep knowledge across data management, content management, integration, front- and back-end development of software, apps, chatbots and websites, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence.

Function criteria

• Education: BSc or equivalent bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of professional front-end development experience.
• Deep experience with React / ReactJS (and optionally React Native or VueJS).
• Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, Git/Gitflow.
• Familiarity with headless CMS systems, data-intensive apps, and composable architectures.
• Agile / Scrum way of working.
• Communication: You can clearly articulate your ideas, persuade others with your solutions, and work independently or collaboratively.
• Mindset: Customer-oriented, pragmatic, and passionate about building excellent digital experiences.
• Language: Fluent in Afrikaans or Dutch (spoken & written), this is essential.
• Seniority: Confident in taking ownership, making architectural decisions, and guiding both clients and teammates.
