Job summary

TMC Electronics is seeking an experienced Senior FPGA Engineer to translate system requirements into robust FPGA architectures and implementations. You will work within multidisciplinary R&D teams across the full development lifecycle, from specification to verification and validation.

In this role you will mentor less experienced engineers, contribute to technical excellence, and drive optimization for embedded systems using leading FPGA platforms from Xilinx and Intel.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of FPGA development experience.
• Experience with Xilinx (AMD) and Intel FPGA platforms.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence.
• Strong verification and validation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Define FPGA architectures and technical specifications based on system requirements.
• Design and implement FPGA solutions using VHDL.
• Perform simulation, verification, debugging, and validation activities.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and system engineers.
• Integrate FPGA designs into complex embedded systems.
• Optimize performance, timing, power consumption, and reliability.
• Support technical decision-making and contribute to architectural discussions.

You will work within multidisciplinary R&D teams on complex technical challenges, covering the entire development cycle from specification and design to verification, integration, and validation.

Our clients operate at the forefront of technology and use industry-leading FPGA platforms such as Xilinx (AMD) and Intel FPGA solutions. Besides your technical expertise, you will play an important role in mentoring and coaching less experienced engineers and contributing to technical excellence within project teams.
