Job summary

Adevinta, a multinational digital marketplaces group, is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to lead cash flow forecasting and financial reporting at the group level. The role partners with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive performance and strategic decisions in Amsterdam.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Group FP&A, strong BI tool skills (Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel, with CPA/CFA or equivalent being a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Group FP&A function with cash flow management & forecasting.
• Proven track record partnering with business leaders for group-level reporting.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficient with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) for data analysis & presentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Group FP&A function, with significant exposure to cash flow management and financial forecasting.
• Business Partnering: Proven track record of effectively partnering with business leaders to drive performance and reporting at a group level.
• Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
• BI Tool Proficiency: Proficient in using Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data analysis and presentation.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis.
• Adaptability: Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a multinational corporate environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent financial certification is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Cash Flow Management: Lead cash flow forecasting and analysis, working closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of cash flow trends.
• Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Drive financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and business strategy.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to provide actionable insights and drive strategic decisions based on cash flow and financial data.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and cash management decisions.
• Presentation & Communication: Prepare and deliver clear and concise financial presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations.
• BI Tool Utilization: Leverage Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau and Power BI to enhance reporting capabilities and data visualization for management teams.
• Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements to cash flow processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with various internal and external stakeholders to understand and resolve cash flow-related challenges.
• Lead and support strategic initiatives such as Long Term Planning, M&A closely collaborating with senior management stakeholders and the Transformation team.
