Job summary

Nebius is seeking an experienced Fixed Assets Accountant to own fixed asset accounting, support month-end close, and drive process improvements in a fast-growing international environment. You will partner with finance, procurement, and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

Responsibilities include maintaining the fixed asset register, managing acquisitions and disposals, leading asset close processes, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounting experience with fixed assets.
• Strong US GAAP and SOX/internal controls knowledge.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP.
• Ability to manage high transaction volumes and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and SOX/US GAAP.
• Review acquisitions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and related transactions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset close activities.
• Coordinate fixed asset stock counts and related controls across units.
• Partner with procurement, FP&A, and operations to improve capitalization processes.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and responses to requests.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization in fixed asset accounting workflows.
• Collaborate with finance and systems teams to enhance NetSuite/BlackLine integrations and reporting.
• Contribute to development and documentation of accounting policies and internal controls.
