Michael Page is leading an international, growth-focused recruitment project for a Senior Treasury & E-Payments Leader. The role centers on shaping the next generation of treasury operations, with an initial hands-on, operational phase and a future strategic trajectory across Europe.

You will manage a team of about five professionals, improving payment ecosystems, and connecting providers with internal systems to enable scalable growth.

Qualifications

Job description

Due to continued growth and increasing transaction volumes across multiple European countries, our client is looking for an experienced Treasury & Payments leader who can help shape the next generation of treasury operations.This is intentionally not a traditional Treasury Director position. While cash management, financing and treasury fundamentals remain relevant, the primary focus during the first phase of the role will be on e-payments, payment operations and optimizing the connections between payment providers, payment methods and internal systems.

You will step into a function with significant opportunities for improvement and development. Initially, the role will be highly operational and hands-on. Over time, you will be expected to build a more strategic treasury organization capable of supporting long-term international growth.

You will lead a team of approximately five professionals and play an important role in restructuring and preparing the organization for its next growth phase. This means combining strong leadership skills with the willingness to remain close to the day-to-day operation when required.

Preferred Background

• Experience building or transforming teams and processes
• German language skills are considered a plus but are not required
