The Role

As Senior Finance Manager, you will be a key strategic and operational partner to the leadership team, owning all aspects of finance from day‑to‑day management to long‑term planning. You’ll build the financial foundation to support a fast‑growing business, leading budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and investor reporting while helping shape the company’s fundraising narrative.

This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and wants to contribute to meaningful climate innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decisions and fundraising efforts.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to prepare materials for the Series A raise and investor discussions.
• Implement scalable financial systems, processes, and controls suitable for a high‑growth company.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and scenario planning to ensure healthy financial management.
• Oversee relationships with external accounting firms, auditors, and legal advisors.
• Provide actionable insights and data‑driven recommendations to support commercial and operational strategy.
• Support board reporting, including the preparation of financial summaries and KPIs.
• Contribute to building a mission‑driven culture focused on transparency, impact, and sustainability.

Experience Required

• 6+ years of experience in finance, ideally in a startup, scale‑up, or high‑growth environment.
• Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and investor reporting.
• Experience supporting or leading fundraising processes (Seed/Series A/B).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and compliance.
• Comfortable being hands‑on and strategic — able to move between detail and big‑picture thinking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Passionate about clean technologies, sustainability, and driving positive environmental impact.
