Job summary

Xeltis is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer in Eindhoven to provide technical leadership in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for cardiovascular medical devices. This role emphasizes complex technical challenges, device design influence, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive MedTech industry experience, particularly with Class II or III devices. You will impact patient safety and clinical outcomes through your engineering expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the MedTech industry.
• Strong non-linear FEA and CFD experience for medical devices.
• Experience with bioresorbable polymers or nitinol is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Define modelling strategies for vascular implants.
• Review and guide outsourced FEA and CFD analyses.
• Support risk management and design control activities.
