Job summary

YETI Europe B.V. is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to lead the EU legal function from Amsterdam. The role focuses on commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and cross‑border governance within a global brand.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified to practice law in at least one EU jurisdiction
• 10+ years of post‑qualification legal experience with commercial contracting focus
• 5+ years of management experience
• Strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks including GDPR
• In-house experience preferred; consumer products/global brand experience is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with leadership
• Fluency in English; other European languages are a plus

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements including sales, distribution, licensing and partnerships
• Provide proactive, strategic legal guidance to EU Commercial leadership
• Assess legal and business risks and propose scalable, long‑term solutions
• Coordinate with global Legal & Compliance for governance and investigations
• Support employment, regulatory compliance, consumer protection and data privacy matters (GDPR)
• Interpret EU/UK laws and translate requirements into actionable guidance
• Develop regional legal policies, templates and contracting frameworks
• Manage outside counsel across EU jurisdictions
• Lead or support cross‑functional projects with regional/global impact
• Deliver training on legal risk, compliance and contracting best practices
