Job summary

CFP Green Buildings seeks a Senior Energy Consultant to lead complex sustainability projects and elevate energy performance for diverse clients across offices, schools, healthcare, and government facilities.

You will conduct energy audits, data analyses, and energy labeling work while guiding a self-managing team. Flexible work arrangements and growth opportunities are available within CFP’s Green Buildings team.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in energy engineering and/or building services engineering.
• Educational background in energy engineering, building services, construction, or related field.
• Passion for sustainability, energy, technology, and digital tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Affinity with energy performance of buildings and real estate.
• Proactive, eager-to-learn, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willing to travel to client locations and drive.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on technical solutions relating to sustainable energy, energy management, building services, and building-related challenges;
• Analyzing energy performance and supporting energy management activities;
• Contributing to energy-saving and sustainability projects;
• Conducting site visits and collecting technical information and supporting evidence;
• Preparing energy audits, carbon analyses, and sustainability reports;
• Contributing to knowledge sharing and innovation through workshops, tools, and methodologies.
