Job summary

Hudl, Inc. is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to work on next generation, fully-automated sports cameras.

You will develop a low-level firmware stack with edge AI-driven capabilities, collaborating across hardware, firmware and application software teams to deliver reliable, updateable systems. You’ll lead technical efforts, own key solutions, and help evolve prototypes into production devices while shaping the future of athletically focused video analytics.

Qualifications

• Deep embedded Linux experience with board support packages, Yocto and full stack familiarity.
• Strong C/C++ development skills across user-space and BSP-level work.
• Linux kernel knowledge including device-tree and kernel driver development.
• Familiarity with UART, I2C and SPI hardware interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware and Application Software Engineers to build a scalable firmware system.
• Lead technically by planning, designing and delivering complex projects.
• Own the problem within an autonomous squad to deliver optimal solutions.
• Contribute to turning prototypes into fully functioning devices powering the full stack.
