Job summary

LV Energy is seeking a Senior Electromechanical Engineer to lead product engineering and industrialisation from prototype to scalable production. This hands-on role requires working directly with design tools, prototypes, testing environments and manufacturing partners to deliver repeatable, cost-effective products.

You will translate customer needs into clear specifications, drive design through simulation and validation, and ensure robust qualification plans while mentoring the growing

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of relevant engineering experience.
• Degree in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with electromechanical design, simulation and experimental validation.
• Track record of taking at least one product through a production ramp.
• Experience with design for manufacturing, supplier management and product qualification.
• Professional English; Dutch is useful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Translate application and customer requirements into clear product specifications.
• Develop and refine the product through engineering analysis, simulation and physical testing.
• Turn prototype designs into products that can be manufactured consistently at a viable cost.
• Define verification and qualification plans, with reproducible tests and traceable results.
• Select and work with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Identify technical risks early and resolve them through evidence and sound engineering judgement.
• Support customers and OEMs during product integration.
• Help build the engineering team as the company grows.
