Job summary

SÜSS MicroTec AG in Eindhoven is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to design electrical diagrams and ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. You will collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.

You will support service and engineering teams, create hardware documentation, and help optimize cost/quality of components and suppliers, with travel as needed. Fluency in English, Dutch or German is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's level of working and thinking.
5+ years in development-focused machine-building environment.
Experience with E-Plan and Beckhoff PLC.
Knowledge of electrical design quality standards and safety standards.
Willingness to travel for installation/start-up/service.

Responsibilities

Work in multidisciplinary project teams.
Create requirements for materials, components and services to meet specs.
Design and maintain electrical diagrams.
Assist in estimating throughput and engineering tasks.
Create and maintain hardware documentation and test protocols.
Coordinate electrotechnical hardware assembly activities.
Identify deviations in technical realization, quality and cost with project management.
Report progress to the project manager.
Support service to optimize cost/quality of components and suppliers.
