Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Veldhoven to lead electrical design efforts for secure issuance machines. You will translate customer requirements into electrical specifications, deliver compliant designs, and maintain essential documentation and safety standards.

You’ll create schematics, BOMs and PLC software, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure robust, safe and reliable machine platforms.

Qualifications

• Translate customer requirements into electrical specifications.
• Deliver electrical designs that meet safety standards and PCP documentation.
• Provide BOMs, process lists and PLC software for machine safety.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and create schematics and BOMs for projects.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Software and Development teams to ensure safety levels and standardization.
• Test and validate electrical designs and oversee setup/configuration and test protocols.
• Support Assembly & Test teams with technical questions and drive improvements in controls engineering.
